Automotive Colour and Equipment was formed in 1988 by Mr. Ray McMartin.
Ray who already owned another automotive paint supply company in Sydney Australia and in 1988 decided he needed to branch out into different areas of Sydney, mainly the South West.
Automotive Colour and Equipment (ACE) as known by locals is a major importer and exporter for the Australian Automotive refinish market.

ACE currently import Dynatron/Bondo, Jolly lift and Car System into the country, ACE are now exporting the Juice range of polishers around the world.

ACE is now selling to both the Trade and Distributers in all States of Australia and has had a continuous positive growth for the last 12 years.

ACE is now headed up by Ray’s son Warren McMartin, Warren has been in this industry for over 22 years and at 44 is one of the key people behind the scenes in the SAPE/ACE group of companies.

Mark Fitzgibbins heads up the Sales Managers position for Automotive Colour and Equipment and Mark has 20+ years of experience in the Automotive Refinish Market.

Darren Kenney heads up Customer Service for Automotive Colour and Equipment and Darren has been in the industry for 18 years.

Mark Stavrach heads up the Chemspec/Metalux division for Automotive Colour and Equipment and Mark has over 30 years experience in the Refinish industry.

Warren McMartin has filled all the key Managerial positions with staff that have many years of experience, this is probably the major reason ACE has grown and succeeded the way it has over the past two decades.

ACE has many different arms to its portfolio and Warren has made sure all arms are headed up by professional, compassionate and responsible Managers. (All with sense of humors)
